My Beautiful, Wonderful Prapso Shih Tzu, Lucy

Lucy

Lucy is a 4-year-old Shih Tzu. My mother in law and brother in law both had registered Shih tzus and wanted to breed them just once. Actually it was per my husband's request. He was very sick with cancer at the time and wanted a companion.

We specifically wanted a girl. There were four pups in the litter and only one of them was a girl. She was just perfect! The only red and white in the litter (mom is blond and dad is black and white).

Lucy has brought more joy to our lives than we ever imagined. No, she's no show dog but she's the smartest, most beautiful girl in the world!

Our two boys just love her to death. As she grew along with her brothers, we realized she was different. Her hair stayed baby soft and just wouldn't grow. She also looked different from the others.

We got worried that something may be wrong with her. We took her to the vet and were told that she was fine but was most likely not full blooded shih tzu. We knew for a fact she was. I didn't think anymore about it since she was active (very) and healthy with a good appetite.

Just lately I got to thinking about it again and that's when I found your website! When I read the description about prapso shih tzus and saw the pics, I knew for sure I had found the answer to all our questions! Thank you for sharing your knowledge. It's meant so much to us. We always knew our Lucy was special!

Love Prapso NEW
by: Britt

We have two prapsos. We have both mom and dad and they are full blooded registered Shih Tzus. Shortly after the pups were born we wondered what happened. Why wasn’t their faces growing out like mom and dad. We also found the prapso page which answered all of our questions. They are the best pups.
