Takeyia, a Tri-color Shih Tzu

She was 3-4 different colors when she was born. My dad nicknamed me Littleheart when I was little, and I picked Kia because she had three patches on her back & side that looked like little hearts.

Her fur is thinner, straighter, and smoother than her mother's hair. I love all the different colors in her coat. If I could change anything about her coat, I would keep the little hearts that were so prominent when she was young. They just smoothed out into circle patches instead.

I'm not sure what color she is considered to be but, I love this little ball of fur with everything in me. She's my little grandbaby and makes my life complete. πŸ•πŸΎπŸ’–πŸ’•
So if you could let me know what color she is, I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Hi, Janice here from Miracle Shih Tzu
-------------------------------------------
Sheryl, you have a beautiful Shih Tzu and from her picture, she also looks like she's the happiest dog in the world. She also has a unique and lovely name.

I've had puppies with some amazing markings when they are neonates but as soon as they grow, as you say, those markings become indistinguishable from the rest of the coat.

If the photo of Takeyia shows her true colors, then she is a tri-color Shih Tzu, black, white and red.
